Tell Nature's Partner's affiliates what Giumarra is up to.

Two weeks ago, you asked Walmart to tell Giumarra/Nature's Partner--as one of its fresh produce suppliers--to uphold the law and the standards it claims to adhere to. You can continue to help keep Giumarra accountable by letting their fellow growers in the Nature's Partner network know that you also expect them to be a part of the effort to hold this company responsible. Let them know that their reputations are also on the line. Practices as abusive as those of Giumarra Vineyards reflect badly on the entire Nature's Partner line of fruits and vegetables.

Giumarra's grower partners are in a special position to encourage the company to be responsible. But we need you to ask them to do so. Giumarra's abuses and law breaking are not suitable for anyone claiming to be Nature's Partner. Nor is the fact that two farm workers died of heat-related causes at Giumarra Vineyards. Or the continued charges and worker stories about Giumarra violating heat laws and enforcing a quota system that makes workers afraid to stop for a sip of water. Please help farm workers by sending a message to the other growers affiliated with Nature's Partner.

As a member of the Nature's Partner network, you ought to know that workers at Giumarra Vineyards--many of whom have endured decades of harassment and illegal mistreatment--have gone public with their dispute against their employer. And they have immense support from consumers--resulting in 35,000 signatures on a petition demanding that Giumarra treat its workers with dignity and respect.

Giumarra's long and well-documented history of worker abuse reflects poorly on the Nature's Partner label. Consumers are disgusted by the stories of routine intimidation and neglect for worker safety.  Giumarra's apathy even resulted in the deaths of two workers laboring in the heat. The more we hear about their continuing violations, the more we associate Nature's Partner produce with their dismal track record.

Tell Giumarra that you do not want to be associated with these practices and that you expect them to clean up their act. Be socially responsible by demanding better of your business associates. Your consumers are looking to you to do the right thing.
